Northern harbour
Apart from the two main sites in Hyllie and Triangeln, MCG is also responsible for the Northern harbour in Malmö. This is where the enormous quantities of excavation material generated by the Citytunnel construction sites are taken.
During the construction, they will receive approximately 3 million m3, which will create 600,000 m2 of new land for Malmö. The picture below shows the area that will be filled and the picture to the right how it looked almost two years later.
