This is all that is visible today at the corner of Stadiongatan/Pildammsvägen. But hidden behind the door are, among other things, stairs descending to a depth of 25 meters, providing a way for the rescue service to enter the tunnels.

|
What now remains is restoration work, and come spring the vegetation will hopefully flourish again.

Back at ground level. This is what it looks like behind the fence at the crossing Pildammsvägen/Stadiongatan. The work on the first access shaft is practically finished and next week the pulling of the sheet piles will begin. |

The stairs will take you down to a level of 25 meters below the surface. Close to this rescue shaft the first TBM has just passed.

This is how far we have come in the construction of the installation building where there will be room for technology as well as equipment for the Rescue Service in case of an accident in the tunnels. The superstructure remains and the restoration work will start some time in the summer. After that only a small part of the building will be visible above ground. |

We have reached the bottom now at Stadiongatan
Now we have reached the bottom of the excavation pit and will work our way upward by lining the walls with concrete.
